Parag comes with a global perspective across various industries and sectors, with expertise on technology-based solutions in Integrated Water and Waste Management, Agri-Logistics & Post Harvest Infrastructure, Drinking Water & Sanitation, and Homeland Security.

He is the force that drives JanaJal in our quest to make safe drinking water available, accessible and affordable to everyone in a seamless, efficient, robust and sustainable manner.

Anurag Agarwal

Co-Founder

With over 25 years of diverse experience in operating, advisory and investing roles as an Entrepreneur, Investment Banker, Private Equity Investor, Board Member, and Academic Professor, Anurag has a strong understanding of structured finance, capital raising and advisory services. Anurag has gained immense experience by working with J.P. Morgan, Credit Suisse, and Regent Private Capital.

His expertise is social entrepreneurship, corporate strategy, finance, and business development; all of which he puts to use in his current role at JanaJal.

Based out of New York, Anurag plays the key role in financial planning and management of the company.

Lt. Gen Sudhir Sharma

Advisor - Head, Global Strategy

During his 35 years of illustrious military service, Gen. Sudhir Sharma has handled staff, instructional and diplomatic assignments, including the command of the world’s largest operational force - Defence Attaché in the United Kingdom, as the Head of Logistics.

A graduate of Staff College, Camberley, he is an acclaimed thought leader and expert on logistics, defence, homeland and corporate security. He speaks at international forums like Global Economic Summit, Global Arab Summit, Global India Summit, Asia Economic Forum, and Ideas on India. He brings with him a deep understanding of different states and regions in India, along with invaluable knowledge of managing field logistics that are vital for the installation, commissioning and operation of ATMs across the country.

Praveen Kumar

Managing Director - India

An MBA graduate from Institute of Management Technology, Praveen has over 35 years of rich & versatile experience in Telecommunications, Pharma, Academics, Agri-Logistics and Water Management at senior management positions.

He was actively involved with the Ministry of Telecommunications in development and implementation of Billing & MIS System for more than 1000 exchanges all over India in the early 90s.

His deep understanding of water treatment and purification technologies, along with his project execution capability, is one of the main pillars of JanaJal’s success.

Praveen’s inclusive approach to execution backed by an astute understanding of various regions in India is critical and helps in mitigating all operational challenges, thereby ensuring adherence to project timelines.
